Hi there! It’s Kelly from Typically Simple and I’m excited to be back with a delicious treat recipe that is perfect for the holiday season! These chocolate caramel pretzel bites are one of our favorite treats to eat at our family Christmas parties. And I always volunteer to make them because they are really SO easy to make!

The first time I had these, a fellow teacher had made a batch and wrapped them up as a yummy Christmas gift. I think I ate the whole bag on the drive home, they are that good! She actually topped them off with pecans which made them taste similar to turtles candy. I decided to make my version a little more kid-friendly by using Christmas colored M&M’s but it would be easy to whip up a batch of both!

When the Rolo candies look like they are starting to melt and losing a little height, it’s time to pull out the pan! You don’t want them to melt too much or it will get messy. Carefully place an M&M on top of the Rolo and press down.

I like to pop the pan into the fridge for about 15 minutes to speed up the process. Store in an airtight container in a cool place.

It’s a sticker from Kawaii Goodies that I attached to a piece of card stock – a fun, little extra something to make the packaging that much cuter!
