My husband and I are pseudo-empty nesters. Our youngest son is a senior in college, so I don’t know that we can truly say we’re empty nesters just yet.

DIY Tools Needed:
There are just a few tools and supplies you’ll need to make this DIY wall art. I’m sure you probably already have all the supplies you need, so this will be a super easy way to add a kind sentiment and a little bit of thankfulness to your home decor.
- Printer (I use an HP DeskJet 3630, but it’s been discontinued.)
- Paper Trimmer
- Scissors

Once you print out the downloaded PDF, it’s simply a matter of trimming the print (or not) and placing it in a frame.
1. Print out the wall art.
This Family & Friends Gather Here wall art print was designed to be printed on 8-1/2 x 11 inch cardstock paper. Once you download the wall art and are ready to print it, be sure to print it at actual size and deselect print to fit.
2. Trim the wall art.
Once printed, you can trim the print to 8″x10″ to fit an 8×10 frame, or leave as is if you’re using a matted frame.
3. Frame the wall art.
Now that you have your Family & Friends Gather Here wall art printed and trimmed to size, you’re ready to frame it. I use my Fiskars Paper Trimmer for this step. In fact, I use my Fiskars Paper Trimmer all the time and I absolutely love it. You can purchase the trimmer online, but you can often times find 50% off coupons from your favorite craft store. Just trying to save you a little money!
Remember, if you’re using a mat with your frame, you probably won’t need to trim the print.
