Hey Kenarry readers! Last time I was here there were 66 days until Christmas. Well, I am back with my ‘Christmas Countdown by Trish’.

There are 38 days until December 25th. And there are just six Saturdays between now and Christmas Eve. That said, I am not just here to share the countdown to my favorite holiday. I also have a Wine Cork Christmas Tree Wall Hanging tutorial to share with you. And, as always, I would like to invite you to stop by my blog site, By Trish Sutton.

For another cute way to upcycle wine corks, make this reindeer ornament!

Needed Supplies:

Directions:

Decide on your desired height for your Wine Cork Christmas Tree Wall Hanging. Next cut a piece of craft paper to that length then fold the craft paper in half. Cut out a half Christmas tree shape.

Cut wine corks in half with a pair of heavy duty scissors then lay the corks out on the craft paper tree to determine the number of wine corks needed.

Paint the flat (top) side of corks, if desired. Using the paper tree as a guide, shape the wine corks into a Christmas tree.

Turn corks upside down so that the flat side of the cork is face down. Next, hot glue the corks together, one at a time. (The reason I glued mine upside down was to keep the face flat and the front of the cork tree as even as possible. Read: my cork cutting skills are lacking.)

Attach a piece of jute or string to the back of the Wine Cork Christmas Tree Wall Hanging.

Trim 1/2 inch to 1 inch around the diameter of the paper tree then cover the backside of the wine cork tree with the paper tree cutout and glue it onto the wine corks.
