Printables are a beautiful & budget friendly way to change up decor for each season. There are a multitude of styles and colors available online at various prices.  A quick Google search will also result in many free printable options, too.

For this project, that’s where I started. I found a delightful set of poppy printables from Little House of Four. Using heavy white cardstock, I printed them using my home printer. (If you don’t have a home printer, you could use an online or local printer source.)

I initially brought out 4 frames to put them in. But, suddenly I realized a whole unique idea was already hanging on the wall above the sofa ~ an old window frame!

I decided that rather than use individual frames, I wanted to use the panes of the windows as my “frames”.

The dilemma was figuring out how to get them to stay there! Here’s how I attached them to the old window frame.

1. Using a tiny grommet and grommet setter, I attached a grommet to the center top of each picture, about 1/2 inch from the top.

2.  I cut 4 equal lengths of string (1 length for each picture), measuring to ensure it was the right length in the window frame. I then threaded each piece of string through a grommet and tied it at the top.

3. I pushed 4 thumbtacks gently but firmly with my thumb into the underside of the old window frame. Once they were in place and holding, I hung the printables up by the string hangers.
