The Summer Spotlight focuses on great ideas for the home from a different blogger each week. This week the spotlight is on Ariean at One Krieger Chick.

All good things must come to an end. Tuesday marked the end of summer, so that means it’s time to wrap up our Summer Spotlight series where we’ve been sharing great ideas for the home every Friday since June! In these last few weeks, we’ve been featuring each of the series hosts. This week my co-host, Susan, is casting the final spotlight on Ariean from One Krieger Chick. I just love the gorgeous DIY, craft and recipe ideas Ariean creates and am thrilled to share them with you. I can’t even pick a favorite to mention because I seriously love them all and know you will too. (Please click through to the original source, if you decide to pin any of these ideas.)

The Summer Spotlight is a collaborative effort to showcase great ideas from a different talented blogger each Friday throughout the summer months. Follow my co-hosts and I online to see the great ideas we share year-round:

Hello Everyone! It’s Susan from Oh My! Creative, and I am excited to share with you a great DIY blogger – meet Ariean from One Krieger Chick! I feel like she is just like me as she tells us a little more about herself…

“If I could describe myself in one word, it would be creative. I always feel like I have too many ideas and not enough time to do them all! I love to decorate and redecorate, create, scrapbook, cook, read and generally have multiple projects going on at the same time!”

She is a mom to three gorgeous boys, a former Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher turned stay at home mom and a city girl turned country loving all things chippy and old! You can see more about Ariean here…stop over and see what she has been creating…your going to love it!

I think one of the first projects that I came across from Ariean {it totally blew me away} was this Outdoor Sofa made from a cast iron bathtub. So clever – I love it! The mixture of prints and patterns is masterfully done!

Here is a great example of turning trash to treasure with this Vintage Wagon Decorative Tray! She took an old wagon, added new handles on the ends and turned it into a serving tray. Perfect for entertaining or holding odds and ends in the kitchen. Its well-worn look adds to the charm.

These Hers and His Pillow Covers are adorable for the bedroom! They would make perfect bridal shower or wedding gifts too. Perfect for the home of the happy couple!

Ariean makes it easy to display her beautiful boys photos by creating this DIY Gallery Style Photo Board. The clips make it easy to change out and add new photos as they grow!

Who doesn’t love mason jars?! Ariean decided to give her traditional kitchen chandelier a facelift with vintage style. See how easy it was to make this Mason Jar Chandelier! She also gives great instructions on how to tint mason jars into this fabulous turquoise color!

Ariean loves to repurpose old things into something new! Finding new uses for old things is a way to add great charm and warmth to any home. This Telephone Table to Kids Desk is one of those kinds of pieces. She transformed it beautifully for the kids to do their school work.

Halloween is upon us – love these Playdough Treat Bags to pass out to the kids or to send into school. A great replacement for candy!

I love to entertain. This Mason Jar Entertaining Caddy is simple to make, but brings so much style to any party table!

So, we are about to head into October, and we know it is only a matter of time before the snow flies…that must mean Christmas is on the way! Ariean shares this pretty Snowflake Wreath. I love the layers of pretty paper snowflakes!
