To Make Donuts:
1 1/2cupsFlourAll-Purpose
1/2cupCocoa
3/4cupGranulated Sugar
1 1/4teaspoonBaking Powder
1/4teaspoonSalt
2Eggs
1/3cupVegetable Oil
2/3cupButtermilk
1/3cupGreek yogurtFat-Free
1teaspoonVanilla
To Make Glaze:
1 1/2cupsPowdered Sugar
3tablespoonsWater
1teaspoonVanilla
Instructions
To Make Donuts:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F/175 degrees C.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, and salt and set aside.
In an additional mixing bowl, whisk together the egg, oil, buttermilk, yogurt, and vanilla.
Add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture and stir until combined.
Place the batter into a gallon size zipper bag and cut off a corner. Generously butter the donut pan cavities. Squeeze the batter into the donut pans until about 2/3 full.
Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow <g class="gr_ gr_93 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_disable_anim_appear Grammar multiReplace" id="93" data-gr-id="93">to cool</g> in the pan for several minutes before removing.
To Make Glaze:
Sift powdered sugar into a medium mixing bowl. Add water and vanilla and whisk until smooth to create the glaze.
Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze and return to the wire rack to dry.
