Ingredients

  • 1 angel food cake prepared
  • 3 oz berry blue Jello
  • 3 oz strawberry Jello
  • 4 cups Water
  • 16 oz tub of whipped topping
  • Red white and blue sprinkles

Instructions

  • Cut half of the angel food cake into cubes.
  • Prepare the berry blue Jello following the instructions on the side of the box, but don't refrigerate yet.
  • Gently fold the angel food cake cubes into the liquid Jello.
  • Spread the Jello cake mixture in a lightly greased 9 x 13" glass baking dish.
  • Refrigerate for four hours until the Jello is set.
  • While the blue layer is setting, cut the remaining angel food cake into cubes and set aside for later.
  • After the blue layer has solidified, spread half of the whipped topping across the blue layer. Put the glass pan in the freezer for 1-2 hours until the whipped topping has hardened.
  • Prepare the strawberry Jello following the instructions on the side of the box. Again while the Jello is still a liquid, gently fold the remaining angel food cake cubes into the strawberry Jello. Spread the strawberry Jello over the whipped topping.
  • Refrigerate for four hours until the Jello is set.
  • Frost with remaining whipped topping. Top with red, white and blue sprinkles. Serve and enjoy!
