Bacon Salt Recipe

Bacon Salt is easy to make and sure to be the perfect topping to your barbecue dishes and so much more!

  • 1 - 12 oz package of bacon
  • 3/4 cup coarse sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper


  • Cook bacon strips in the oven until they’re crispy (slightly overcooked). Remove from oven, let cool.
  • In a food processor, blend the bacon strips into small pieces (until a paste begins to form). You can also put them in a freezer bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  • Combine bacon, sea salt and pepper in a bowl and stir to blend well. Transfer to an air-tight container and store in the refrigerator when not in use.
