Vanilla Chai Mug Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

An easy and versatile treat that ready to eat in less than 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  • Cake:
  • 5 tbsp. Flour
  • 1/8 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 3 tsp. Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 3 tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 tbsp. powdered chai latte
  • 2 tbsp. apple sauce
  • Frosting:
  • 1 tbsp. softened butter
  • 2 tbsp. softened cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp. powder sugar

Instructions

  • Add all dry ingredients into a large mug.
  • Mix in wet ingredients. Stir well.
  • Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  • While in the microwave add frosting ingredients to a small sandwich bag. Mix ingredients in the bag then cut off one corner of the bag.
  • Remove mug cake from microwave and let cool for 2-3 minutes.
  • Pipe frosting onto the cake and sprinkle with more chai.
