Closet doors are so expensive that I went to the drawing board to make our own! Find our how I did it with 2x2s a little paint and some sheer fabric!
My scarf collection was a mess of fabric stuffed in a box until I created this super simple scarf organizer that keeps them all organized neatly on the inside of my closet door. Now they’re off the floor and I can see the entire selection at a glance. This organizing project was well worth the bit of time and money it took to do.
My daughter’s bedroom has sliding mirrored closet doors. Not very pretty to look at, but very functional. I wanted to give them an update and add some architectural interest. My first thought was to use thin wood trim from Home Depot. Then I remembered I am, in fact, not a carpenter. It would take great carpentry skills to get the look I was going for. Finally I came up with an easy DIY solution, that only took 1 hour total to complete!
