DIY Ornament Gift Card Holder

Decorate a cute ornament gift card holder with these tips! It makes gift-giving so much more special and fun!

Equipment

  • Craft Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Cricut Joy 
  • Foam Brush

Supplies

  • 2 Small Embroidery Hoops
  • 2 sheets Felt
  • 2 pages Glitter Cardstock
  • 1 sheet Vinyl
  • Glitter
  • Mod Podge
  • 1/2 yard Ribbon

Instructions

  • First, use a foam brush to add mod podge to the wood frame of the embroidery hoop. Sprinkle glitter onto the frame.
  • Place the embroidery hoop on top of the felt and cut a square a little larger than the hoop.
  • Open the hoop by loosening the screw. Place the cut felt into the hoop and tighten the screw so it is secure.
  • Cut a piece of glitter paper to fit the back of the hoop and trim it so it is rounded around the edges.
  • Attach the cut glitter paper to the frame with hot glue.
  • Cut out a festive shape with your vinyl cutting machine and attach it to the felt.
  • Hot glue a bow to the top of the hoop ornament and a ribbon for hanging.
