What is salty, sweet, hides in lunchboxes and fills party bowls? Amazingly Simple Halloween Ghost Treats!
Hey there, Kenarry readers! It’s me, Trish, also known as the girl in central Arizona who is in absolute disbelief that we are well into September. I know that many of us say it often but let me just say it again, time flies!
The temperatures here gives no indication that fall is in the air; however, I am sticking with the idea that September means fall. Lately, I have been dreaming of cooler temps and seeking out fall like ideas. Enter: Ghost Pretzels! These salty and sweet gems have found their way into my little guy’s lunchbox and he absolutely loves them. These spooky salty and sweet vanilla covered pretzels turned Halloween Ghost Treats are just as tasty as they are cute.

Add vanilla candy to a microwave safe dish then follow the melting directions on the label; or microwave vanilla candy on high for one minute, stir well. Continue to heat candy in the microwave in 15 second intervals, stirring after each time until it is completely melted.
3. Dip the pretzels
Use a fork to dip each pretzel of your soon to be Halloween Ghost Treats into the melted candy; flip the pretzel to cover both sides. Place pretzels onto the prepared baking sheet then use a straw (or toothpick) to poke out the bottom hole of each pretzel to resemble a spooky open mouth. (AHHH!!!)
4. Give the ghosts eyeballs
Add a drop of melted vanilla candy in the two top holes of each pretzel before lightly pressing eyeballs onto your spooky salty and sweet treats.
5. Set, share & enjoy!
Place the baking sheet of your Amazingly Simple Halloween Ghost Treats in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes or until the candy coating hardens. Finally, fill a Candy Bowl full of these spooky sweet treats and share them in the spirit of Halloween. Enjoy!
Along with being the girl in disbelief that fall is upon us, I am also a girl who loves salty & sweet combinations. Stop by my website for more similar creations!
