Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350F degrees and prepare a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

  • After the cookies have cooled place a sheet of wax paper on a cookie sheet or the counter.

  • Crush candy canes by placing them in a plastic bag then break them into pieces using a rolling pin or the back of a spoon.
  • Add half of White Chocolate Chips to a microwavable bowl (if you prefer you can melt them all at once; I like splitting the bag to ensure my chocolate stays smooth).  Heat in the microwave on high for 45-60 seconds. Then stir the white chocolate with a spoon until all of the chips have melted.

  • Dip half of each cookie into the melted chocolate, place them on the wax paper then sprinkle crushed candy cane over the cookies before the chocolate sets.
  • Chill for 15-20 minutes or until the cookies have set then store them in an airtight container or place them in a large jar (like these pretzel rods) to give as a gift.
