Hey hey!! Happy New Year Kenarry Readers! Trish here and I hope that your 2017 is off to an incredible start. Let’s get crafting with this easy Framed Floating Hearts Valentine Decor.
Have you packed away all of your December decor? My green and red Christmas decorations have been packed away however my winter snowmen are still standing their ground. I have quite the love for snowmen therefore I keep them on display a bit longer than the Christmas tree and Nativity set.
With Valentine’s Day less than a month away I have been adding pink and red to my mix of snowmen. I would love for you to stop by my blog site, By Trish Sutton, to see some of my Valentine creations. But before you head over there I would like to share my latest with you, Framed Floating Hearts Valentine Decor.

Supplies Needed:
Picture Frame
Wood Hearts
Wooden “Love” Cutout
Craft Paint
Ribbon
Glue Gun
Scissors
Before you begin remove the backing and the glass from the picture frame then decide on the number of hearts (and any other wood pieces) that you will be using to create your Valentine decor.
Step One:
Paint the desired number of wood hearts and the wooden “love” cutout. If you plan on floating any other wood pieces in your open frame paint those as well.
Step Two:
Loop a long piece of ribbon through the frame and tie a bow. Then secure your hanging ribbon with a dot of hot glue on the backside of the frame.
Step Three:
Create the design of your floating wood pieces inside the open frame.
Step Four:
Hot glue a piece of ribbon to the back of the frame for each floating wood piece then secure the shapes to the other end of the ribbon with more hot glue.
After the glue dries your super simple Framed Floating Hearts Valentine Decor is ready to hang!
