Create beautiful decor for your home with these 16 jute craft ideas. These DIY projects use burlap twine to give your home farmhouse style.
It’s no secret that I love burlap crafts. Whether it’s making a wreath with burlap ribbon or finding other ways to use natural jute in my decor, I simply love everything about this trendy fabric. As you may know, burlap is made out of long strands of jute or twine. The twine or string can be used in lots of different ways.
A few months ago, Pam from The Birch Cottage who’s on our Kenarry Creative Team shared how to make loopy burlap flowers from burlap ribbon. In her tutorial, she mentions setting aside the leftover twine strands to use for other jute crafts. Kimberly, a Kenarry reader then wrote to us and asked:
“You said to keep the burlap strands for another project. Can you direct me to ideas for these strands? Love the flower tutorial! Thanks.”
So this got me thinking… what other kinds of decor and crafts can you make with twine? I set out to research and gather the best of the best jute craft ideas for Kimberly — and for you!
