With New Year’s Eve just a few days away and the Super Bowl coming up in a few weeks, this recipe for Mini Taco Cups is just what you need.
These Mini Taco Cups are so versatile! They are a great low key appetizer that you will only spend a few minutes on and they are perfect for cocktail parties or tailgate parties! I have been known to serve them as a light dinner too! My daughters scarf these up and make Taco Tuesday all the more fun!
I have been bringing these little mini tacos to parties because I love that I can make them the night before, refrigerate and then bake right before I need them! There is nothing better than a no stress, make ahead appetizer.
How to Make Mini Taco Cups
These mini tacos only take minutes and you can make them the night before and bake right before serving!
What you need:

- Mini phyllo cups
- Ground beef
- Salsa
- Taco sauce
- Taco seasoning
- Shredded cheddar cheeseÂ
- sour cream, salsa for serving
Cooking Tips:
Cook ground beef until browned.
Add ground beef to a skillet with the taco seasoning and brown until cooked through.
Add taco sauce, salsa and simmer.
Add meat to phyllo cups, top with cheese, and then bake. Serve with salsa!
Mini Taco Cups
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 24 mini phyllo cups
- 1/2 cup chunky salsa
- 1/4 cup taco sauce
- 1/4 cup taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- sour cream, salsa for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Add ground beef to a skillet. Cook until no longer brown. Add taco sauce, taco seasoning, and salsa. Stir then simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
- Line phyllo cups on a sheet pan. Add a scant teaspoon (a cookie scoop works great!) to each cup. Top with cheese.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Serve hot or at room temperature.
