Hi everyone! My name is Lisa Favre, and I am a food blogger. I’ve also been a contributor to Kenarry for quite some time but took a year off to welcome my second child into the world. It was such a beautiful time to live slowly while enjoying all the cuddles and giggles from our family’s newest addition.

The most delicious carrot side dish (made using an air fryer).

It feels great to be back in action, and I’m eager to share this incredibly easy air fryer recipe with you.

How to Make An Easy Honey Carrots Side Dish Using Your Air Fryer

One of the things that I purchased while on my maternity break was an air fryer. I had been putting off buying one for a while because, quite frankly, I was intimidated by the mighty machines. Then, finally, I went for it and boy has it ever been a game-changer.

Air Fryer Honey Carrots Side Dish Tips:

Well-ventilated Area

Whenever I am using small kitchen appliances (in this case, an air fryer), I always make sure to use them in an area of my kitchen that is well-ventilated. The air fryer can heat up quite a bit, so be sure there aren’t any knick-knacks surrounding it. Keep your workstation clear from clutter as much as possible.

The Perfect Texture

Just as it’s described in the recipe’s process instructions, be sure that your carrots are well washed and peeled to get the best texture possible for your honey carrots side dish.

Can I Put Parchment Paper In My Air Fryer?

Most air fryer recipes will give the a-okay to use parchment paper. However, it is always best practice to read your air fryer’s specific instructions/manual before moving forward. Most air fryers on the market will allow parchment paper up to a certain temperature. Further, be sure to read the fine print on your parchment paper to see up to what temperature it can withstand.

Can I Put Aluminum Foil In My Air Fryer?

Just like with my parchment paper tip above, it’s always best to refer to your specific air fryer’s brand and model and all of its instructions. Personally, I have never used aluminum foil in my air fryer, but I have seen many recipes that recommend it.

Can I Reheat These Carrots In The Air Fryer?

Yes! Reheating in the air fryer is great and prevents soggy food and uneven heating (much like a microwave causes sometimes). These carrots can be reheated at 350 degrees F for about 5-7 minutes. If you feel like they’re a little dry, feel free to add a bit more olive oil and honey, one teaspoon at a time.
