Hello friends! Michelle here from Our Crafty Mom sharing another easy DIY today. With Mother’s Day coming up, I thought it would be fun to make a DIY Lavender Sugar Scrub. You can easily change this recipe to use your favorite fragrances, but I love lavender. It is such a soothing fragrance and a perfect choice for Mother’s Day.

This homemade Lavender Sugar Scrub is so easy and inexpensive to make, you may want to make extra for yourself! The combination of essential oils can be changed with whatever your favorites are.

How to Make DIY Lavender Sugar Scrub

Gather your supplies and let’s make some lavender sugar scrub! You can easily double or triple this recipe if you want to make several at one time.

Instructions:

1. Mix the ingredients

Place sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add lavender oil. Set aside.

2. Microwave the coconut oil

Microwave coconut oil for 15 seconds until softened. Be sure not to overheat. Slowly add to sugar and lavender oil. Add dried lavender and mix until well blended.

3. transfer into glass jar

Transfer the completed sugar scrub into the glass jar. I found plastic scoops at the Dollar Store that you can use to make it easier.

Use a piece of chalk or chalkboard pen to write Mom, or whatever greeting you would like. You can also attach a decorative gift tag to complete it!

The smell is amazing and wasn’t that so easy? This, paired with our lavender linen spray, is not only a great gift for Mother’s Day, but also for teachers, co-workers, or really anyone on your list.
