Now this is not an ordinary tackle box. This is Dad’s Fun Father’s Day Tackle Box!

What you need:

• An empty tackle box or a plastic storage box like the one pictured. You can get this at Walmart or your local dollar store.
• Gummy worms
• Gummy fish
• Father’s Day Tackle Box Tags (You can get this free printable further down in this post)

My dad doesn’t like Candy. What else can I put in the tackle box?

Why, anything dad loves!

While gummy fish and gummy worms look apt in that box, there’s no point in giving Dad something he won’t eat or enjoy.

Put his favorite snacks in the empty compartments instead. Perhaps some jerky, pretzels, or nuts.

• Home printer
• White card stock paper
• Tape to stick the tag onto the tackle box, or punch a hole in the top left-hand corner of the tag and thread a ribbon through. Tie this to the tackle box the way I tied this tag to the pack.

This Father’s Day gift idea is a memorable one, and yes, you could easily make this gift under $10, dependent on what price you find your tackle box at and what snack or treats you include in your dad’s box.
