I’m one for always elevating a basic recipe and today, I’m doing exactly that with my beverage. I am incredibly proud to present my own rendition of Strawberry Basil Lemonade. Keep on reading through the post for my easy step-by-step instructions!

How to Make Strawberry Basil Lemonade

The best part about my Strawberry Basil Lemonade is that you don’t need to make a big batch! This particular recipe focuses on individual servings and almost serves as a mocktail.

my very best tips on Making the most delicious strawberry basil lemonade:

use a mortar and pestle

To create the base of this Strawberry Basil Lemonade, I recommend combining the ingredients by using a mortar and pestle. The idea is to have the flavors fuse in together and a mortar and pestle works really well for this.

However, if you find yourself without a mortar and pestle, then mixing everything in a bowl works as well! I suggest using the back of a large spoon to crush the strawberries.

Use Ready-Made Lemonade

The point of this recipe is to make an elevated version of a classic drink in as little steps as possible! For my Strawberry Basil Lemonade, you can pick up your favorite lemonade at your local grocery store.

serve as a mocktail

With the way this lemonade is prepared, it almost reminds me of a mojito! My current recipe doesn’t involve any alcohol, so it’s perfect for the whole family. However, if you wanted to make an “adult version” of the drink, I recommend adding a splash of gin or vodka!

Easy-to-find ingredients

The best part about this lemonade recipe is that it uses very common ingredients. As a food blogger, fresh basil and frozen strawberries are something I often have on-hand, so making this drink on the daily is a total breeze!

I love the fact that anyone can find all of this recipe’s ingredients in their favorite grocery store. Plus, it’s an elevated drink but still very much budget-friendly!
