Celebrate love always with this free printable Valentine’s Day Art. Frame it as a gift for the one you love or display it as home decor in your living room or bedroom.
Hey there! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, ’tis the season of love. We’re celebrating today with a new freebie. Just print out and frame the free printable Valentine’s Day art to remind yourself to “Love Always”.
In our family, Valentine’s day is usually pretty simple. We exchange cards and I make heart-shaped food like pizza and brownies to celebrate with my husband and two young boys. Every year, I think to myself I ought to decorate more for this special holiday.
Maybe one of these years, I’ll make a wreath or one of these other Valentine’s Day home decor ideas. This year though I just wanted something simple – a free printable I could share with you to spread the love this Valentine’s Day.
WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS
With all the suffering and disagreements in our world, my heart often feels heavy and burdened. What can we do to make a difference? The simple answer: Love one another, not just on Valentine’s Day, but always.
This song made popular by Jackie DeShannon keeps popping into my head this Valentine’s Day: What the World Needs Now is Love.
Give it a listen and I guarantee it will be stuck in your head for the rest of today too.
“What the world needs now is love, sweet love– Burt F. Bacharach / Hal David, What the World Needs Now is Love
It’s the only thing that there’s just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love,
No not just for some but for everyone.”
Love. It’s both a noun and a commanding verb that calls us into action. Not just to love our husbands, wives or significant others. Not just to love our children or our families. To love everyone.
To love always is the very core of how we’re called to live our lives according to the greatest commandment in The Bible —
35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” – Matthew 22: 36-40 (NIV)
To love one another is an active reminder that we all need – and not just to love sometimes when we “feel” like it or to love once a year at Valentine’s Day. But rather, to make a conscious daily choice to LOVE ALWAYS.
