Hi, I’m Carrie from Ideas for the Home by Kenarry® here today to cast a spotlight on Cindy from Little Miss Celebration. I first became acquainted with Cindy through her weekly “Best of the Weekend” party. She and her co-hosts kick off the festivities every Friday night to gather the very best crafts, DIY projects, recipes and more from bloggers all over the world. What really impressed me about Cindy, though, was how generously and genuinely she shares the ideas she finds at the party across her social media. She is certainly the hostess with the mostest. Like Cindy, I love holidays, birthdays, and special events so I was naturally drawn to her blog, Little Miss Celebration.
To say Cindy loves to celebrate good times is an understatement. She lives up to the name “Little Miss Celebration” and cheers her readers on:
“Whatever YOU are celebrating, we are going to ‘craft’ together all of the things that will kick your special moments into high gear and make every celebration an experience that’s amazing, memorable and awesome! We are going to do a lot of crafting, a little cooking, some candy making and I will even have some great make-up and skin care tips for you, too….come on, this combo just has to be fun!
Some people are obsessed with shoes or clothes (well, who am kidding, so am I!) though what really obsesses me are celebrations, crafting and all the things I can put a personal spin on to make these moments fabulous for those I love. I have been truly lucky in life to have known countless, incredibly talented people who have shared their time, energy and knowledge with me. Now, I want to give some of this back to you! Get ready….I am going to motivate, stimulate, encourage and cheer you on to do whatever things will make you a rock star of celebrating and being the most fabulous you!“
Don’t you just love her already? Whether you’ve got a summer barbecue in the works, out of town guests coming to visit or are planning ahead for the holidays, Cindy has so many great ideas to help you celebrate. This week she’s sharing with us a tip for organizing, a cheerful summer wreath to brighten your front door when company arrives and a few of her favorite recipes to entertain your friends and family. If you love these ideas from Little Miss Celebration, please click through to her site and pin from the original source. Links are above each photo.
Great Ideas from Little Miss Celebration:
Do you have a drawer in your kitchen that’s crammed full of appliance manuals and take out menus from area restaurants? Cindy shares a great idea to organize it all in a binder so you can actually find it when you need it.
Though many of us are in back to school mode, summer isn’t officially over for another month. Cindy shows how you can savor the last few rays of sunshine by creating this adorable summer wreath using clothesline.

If you’re looking for a great dessert to entertain a crowd this summer, Cindy’s Hot Milk Cake looks amazing. She refers to this cake as the “little black dress of desserts” because you can dress it up with your favorite berries and whipped cream or serve it plain.

When I first saw this picture of Caramel Pecan Milkshake Shooters, I wondered where Cindy found such adorable little glasses to serve them. Upon looking closer, I realized those aren’t small glasses at all. They’re actually chocolate cups Cindy created using candy molds. Wouldn’t the milkshake shooters be the cutest little dessert to serve at your next dinner party?

Are you expecting out of town visitors soon? Cindy has a great idea for an impressive, yet easy brunch that will wow your overnight guests. She made individual french toast cups and then filled them with baked apples. You’ll especially want to keep this recipe on hand as we move into apple picking season this Fall.

And speaking of Fall entertaining, check out these delightful little morsels! They look like mini caramel apples, but they’re actually cookies. You’re definitely going to want to pin this one from Little Miss Celebration to serve at a Halloween party or Thanksgiving feast.
