These Baked Pumpkin Dog Treats are the perfect homemade treat for your pup during the cooler months. Dogs love the smell of fall too.
Hi everyone, it’s Erica from Messy Momma Crafts. Fall has arrived and the beautiful colors are starting to show in Northern Michigan. Fall is one of my favorite seasons, I love the cool air after a warm summer and the smell of apple cider and pumpkin spice. My dog loved the smell and could tell I was making something yummy for him while I was mixing up these Baked Pumpkin Dog Treats.
You can make these yummy Baked Pumpkin Dog Treats in any shape but I love the classic dog bone cookie cutter.

CaN YOU USE REGULAR FLOUR FOR DOG TREATS?
Yes. You can use regular flour in dog treats. Wheat flour is often substituted because of the lack of nutritional value in regular flour. If your dog has a sensitivity to wheat you can substitute oats.
Is pumpkin good for dogs?
While pumpkin pie filling is not good for dogs because of everything added, canned organic pumpkin is a great source of fiber. Canned organic pumpkin also helps with constipation or diarrhea. To learn more I found this great article at icalmpet.com.
