How to Make This Easy Grandma Birthday Craft
What makes this craft special is its simplicity and beauty. Fingerprint art has a special place in my heart, so to have the cherry blossoms made using a child’s fingerprint (or multiple grandkids’ fingerprints) makes this a gift Grandma will love, and yes, she will frame it for all to see!

Tips to Make This Easy Grandma Birthday Craft:
Use White Card stock to Print the Cherry Blossom Outline
Since paint will be used to create cherry blossoms, it is recommended to use white cardstock while printing the tree outline. The white cardstock is thicker than regular white multi-purpose paper and hence, more durable.
This also looks so much better when framed.
Use different Shades of Pink.
Use different shades of pink paint to make the art look like a real Cherry Blossom tree.
Frugal tip: if you use paints available in your home and only have one shade of pink. Place a bit of pink paint in three sections of the paint tray palette. Add a dab of white in one, a dab of red, and leave the third as is.
Take your paintbrush and mix the white and pink paint separately. Clean the brush and then mix the red and pink paint.
You now have three shades of pink!
Remember, the Goal Is Not Perfection
If your little one decides to make a more puffy tree than visualized in your mind, it’s fine.
If one branch has more blossoms than the other, don’t stress.
The key is to encourage them to have fun making Grandma’s gift, and if the Cherry Blossom Tree is nothing like you’d hoped it to be, that’s okay.
Grandma will love it, and I’m sure the tree will look gorgeous irrespective of how full or sparse the branches look.
