When you need a refreshing beverage, try one of these sweet summer drinks and mocktail recipes. They are pretty enough for parties too!

A pretty little drink is the perfect way to unwind on hot summer nights. They make lovely centerpieces for parties and are just a lot of fun to prepare too.

All of the drinks on this list are kid-friendly. That’s the fun of mocktails! Kids get to enjoy drinks made just for them.

1. Watermelon slush

Our Watermelon Slush is a nice way to save the calories when you're wanting something like ice cream or a shake on a hot summer day. Easy to make and even yummier to drink.

When it’s hot outside, this watermelon slush will cool you off! Kids will love slurping the flavored ice up as it melts outside too.

2. Rosemary Plum Italian Cream Soda

This rosemary plum Italian cream soda tastes just like something you would get at a coffee shop. It’s made with fresh plums, brown sugar, club soda, and half and half. This is a completely homemade drink!

3. Old Fashioned Fizzy Lemonade

This fizzy lemonade recipe even comes with a science lesson. Kids will love making their own fizzy drinks and learning about chemical reactions at the same time.

4. Watermelon Mojito

Adults can enjoy this watermelon mojito with alcohol. To make it a mocktail, just leave out the rum and fill it with seltzer. Adding sliced watermelon is the perfect way to sweeten this drink.

5. Red and Blue Punch

This red and blue layered punch is as fun to drink as it is to make. Even though it looks perfect for July 4th, you can enjoy it any time of year.

6. Egyptian Mint Limeade

This limeade is the definition of refreshing. All you need to make your own is fresh-squeezed lime juice, sugar, mint leaves, and crushed ice.

7. Brazilian Lemonade

A Brazilian lemonade is creamy and sweet – a lot different than what we are used to in the USA. This one is made with sweetened condensed milk!

8. Strawberry Peach Soda

You’ll enjoy this strawberry peach soda and all the sweet flavors it has. Peach is a summertime fruit. Imagine drinking this while eating a slice of peach pie!

9. Raspberry Sherbet Punch

This recipe is a classic staple at parties. Everyone will love how the raspberry sherbet punch tastes. It has the refreshing flavors of lemon and lime with the happy pink colors from the raspberry sherbet.

10. Shirley Temple

Kids love how this Shirley Temple drink looks and tastes. The secret ingredient that makes it taste so amazing is the Grenadine.

11. Muddled Blueberry Lemonade

This blueberry lemonade is such a bright color and has the perfect balance of sweet and tang.

12. Sonic Ocean Water

If you want something that’s completely unique, try this strawberry basil lemonade. It tastes best if you use a blender to really mix everything up.

Stir up a frozen mint limonana (lemonade). You’ll need some lemons and fresh mint to make this exciting drink.

This mermaid slush has such beautiful colors in each layer. This drink tastes fruity because it’s made with 3 different types of Gatorade too.

18. Color-Changing Lemonade

Everyone will love this color-changing lemonade. This drink is made with butterfly pea flower teabags – that’s what gives it the color.

This grapefruit mint infused water recipe is the healthiest one on the list. No added sugars, just fruit and herbs.
