Hey everyone! Michelle here from Our Crafty Mom sharing a super simple winter white cosmo. We all know the long, cold winter months can be difficult to get through. I’m all about quick and easy recipes, especially cocktails. Sometimes you don’t want to make a drink that requires a ton of ingredients, especially after a busy day of work. The thing I love about this drink (aside from the taste) is that you only need a few ingredients to make it.

Winter White Cosmo Tips:

Choose Your Favorite Vodka

While I used vanilla vodka for this recipe, you can use whatever flavor and brand of vodka that you like. I do recommend going with some type of flavor rather than an unflavored vodka. It gives it an extra bit of sweetness.

If you want to go with unflavored, you could always add a tsp of pure vanilla. Also, don’t worry about buying the most expensive vodka for a cosmo-unless you already have it on hand. The rich flavors from the chocolate liqueur and creme de cacao already make this drink delicious!

Keep Your Vodka Chilled

Keeping your vodka chilled sounds like a simple tip, but it makes a difference. Considering I drink iced coffee year-round, I love a nice chilled martini. Having the vodka already chilled helps. I live in New Hampshire where the winters are pretty harsh. Want to know the best way to chill vodka in the winter; keep it on the back deck in a cooler. Or how about this idea:

Now that’s a creative idea!

Tips for Rimming the glass

I prefer to add a rim to the martini glass. Melted white chocolate looks lovely with the winter white drink, but you can also use dark chocolate. To get the perfect rim, add simple syrup to the glass before placing it in the chocolate. It sticks so much better! You can also use a bit of honey if you prefer.

I hope you enjoy this quick and easy drink recipe. Please let me know in the comments below if you give it a try. Cheers!
