Tips For Using This Camping Bingo Printable
This is the perfect printable to take with you when you camp, whether it’s in a tent or as part of an RV camping trip!
Once you have the free printable camping bingo PDF downloaded, you can easily print it to use on your next camping trip or outdoor walk. Your kids can use markers, colored pencils or crayons to mark off each item they can find. However, since there is only one bingo page, let me share a few different ways you can play bingo as a group our individually.
Traditional Bingo as a Family
For those with younger children or families that aren’t so competitive to actually need an ultimate winner – I would suggest playing this camping bingo as a family unit. This way, you don’t need multiple copies, rather it’s quality time in chit chatting and exploring nature and the outdoors together.
So collectively as a family, you are keeping an eye out for the different camping related subjects and checking them off. You can choose to achieve traditional bingo – one row or one column completed – or go even farther and try to fill up the entire board during your trip.
You kids can mark off or color up each square as you complete them. Some items are easier than others to identify depending on your camping trip location. You can even make a challenge out of some of the items in the squares and see who can think of a way to check off that square given your particular location and situation. Get creative!
Another way to Play
If your family is a bit competitive but you only want to use this one camping bingo page, then I suggest another way to play traditional bingo. Simply assign family members certain rows and/or columns. That way, you can still go through your trip to check off each square on one page, but the winner is determined by which row or column is filled for bingo first!
Prepare Different Camping Bingo Pages Beforehand
For those of you who like the traditional game of bingo, each with their own card, consider preparing before you trip. It’s easy to print out multiple copies of the camping bingo page and cut out all the squares to reorder the bingo card into a unique combination. You can reorder randomly and create many unique bingo cards for all the players in your camping trip or outdoor excursion.
In this fashion, there is almost no limit to how many different bingo cards you can create and it will truly be random! It’s a great way to prepare for your trip and hype it up to your kids as well. You can definitely have them help you out in preparing these unique bingo cards during a crafty session of cutting and gluing!
