These days, it’s more important than ever to express our gratitude. Consider all the little things that make life just better and more wonderful, for you, your family and your kids. I like to make it a practice to write thank you notes every month! • Mailing envelopes (kraft or preferred color)

DIY FREE THANK YOU CARD PRINTABLE INSTRUCTIONS:

1. DOWNLOAD AND PRINT.

After signing-up above as a Kenarry subscriber, you’ll receive the free download link in your email inbox. Both card designs have been formatted for Letter-sized paper printing and fit most standard-sized card envelopes for mailing. I usually print with the “Actual Size” setting on my home printer, or you can adjust the percentage if you want to print larger or smaller as preferred.

When it comes to printing at home, just be sure to use the best cardstock paper you have and set the printer to the best quality setting possible. That will guarantee you get the best color and vibrancy possible with your at-home printer.

If you do not have access to a printer at home, you can also send the files to your local print shop to get them professionally printed in color. It’s also a great option especially if you want to print in bulk.

2. TRIM PRINTABLES & PREPARE CARDS.

Once you have the cards printed out, simply trim off the excess paper and fold it in half to prepare your DIY card. You can use a paper trimmer or scissors – whatever you have handy at home. I have found that folding the paper first, then trimming to the final size, actually gives me the cleanest result. You can also use a corner trimmer to round the edges if you prefer.

Also, consider writing thank you notes with your kids as you can print as many copies as you need for friends, teachers, and mentors. You can also decorate your cards and make them extra special by adding stickers, embellishments, glitter, and other tidbits on the inside. Expressing your gratitude can double as a fun art activity together as a family!

3. REPEAT AS NECESSARY.

The wonderful thing about printables is that you can always save the digital file for future use. Whenever you need to say thank you, just choose a design, print it out, and write your message inside. Saying “thank you” has never been easier, and writing out your thanks on a card to hand to your recipient means so much these days!

People often say that we underestimate how much joy little gestures can actually create, so don’t forget to say thank you to all the people in your life who means so much to you! It’s never too late or too much to say thank you!
