Smoothie pack Tips

Wash your fruit and veggies.

Always start by washing your fruit and veggies and patting them dry with paper towel and set them aside. This removes the residue and other germs off of them.

CUT YOUR FRUIT INTO SMALLER PIECES.

Cut the larger fruit into smaller pieces, like bananas, apples, and strawberries. The smaller fruits you can leave as is, like blueberries and raspberries. Since you are going to freeze the fruit, you need to make sure they are small enough to blend well.

FILL YOUR FREEZER BAGS WITH 2 CUPS OF FRUIT.

Mix up your fruit in 2 cup portions in your favorite fruit combinations like strawberry/banana, raspberry/blueberry, or banana/raspberry.

Label The Freezer Bags

Don’t forget to label the bags with the fruit combination. It’s so much easier to grab the right bag when it’s labeled.

Add Veggies for more fiber and nutrition

When veggies are mixed in with the fruit, you can’t even taste them. Add a handful of spinach or kale or a few carrot sticks to your fruit smoothie bags. You can also wait and add them fresh.
