15 Memorial Day Recipes to Welcome Summer

These Memorial Day recipes are easy, patriotic, and almost too pretty to eat. If you need some Memorial Day desserts, these are the best ones!

If you are spending time with your family this Memorial Day (whether in person or virtually) then these are the foods you should serve. All of them are fresh and different. They will impress everyone, even yourself!

15 Patriotic Memorial Day Recipes That Are Perfect for Backyard BBQs

Memorial Day ushers in the beginning of summertime! It is a somber time to remember those that aren’t with us anymore. In fact, the first memorial day was May 30, 1868 and it was called “Decoration Day.” It was a day when people visited the tomb of the unknown soldier and decorated the graves of soldiers in Arlington National Cemetery.

Today, we can still remember those that gave their lives in the line of duty, even if we don’t leave our house. Before you enjoy some of these recipes, take a moment to remember why we are able to enjoy time together as a family. Honor the brave men and women that gave it all.

Creative & Patriotic Memorial Day Recipes

All of these recipes are fun to make and even more fun to eat! Put all of them on your menu and enjoy trying something different together.

These recipes are perfect for an Independence Day party as well! We also have some grilling recipes if you need those ideas too.

Even if the weather isn’t hot, it’s always the perfect time for some ice cream sandwiches. The sprinkles remind me of fireworks, so you can serve these at your July 4th party too! Here’s the super-easy recipe.
