DIY Will You Be My Bridesmaid Printable:

1. Download and Print Copies

When you sign-up above, you’ll receive the free download link in your email inbox. The design is a printable PDF formatted for Letter-sized paper and fits standard-sized card envelopes for mailing.

You can use the “Actual Size” setting on your home printer or adjust the percentage if you want to print smaller. The most important aspect is to select the best quality print possible in your printer menu, so you get the most brilliant color printout. These days, technology has advanced and even home printers can give you amazingly professional results.

For this type of card it might be best to use a thicker cardstock paper if possible, or you can also send this file to a local print shop to get them printed professional on different types of paper. Depending on how many bridesmaids you are asking, print out the appropriate copies and it might be a good idea to print a few extra, just in case. It’s always better in these situations to have extras!

2. Trim Paper & Write

After you have the “will you be my bridesmaid?” card design printed out, it’s super simple to trim out the rectangle shape and fold in half to get your final card, ready to go. You can use a paper trimmer or scissors – whatever you have handy at home to trim to size.

Once the cards are ready, I would definitely suggest using some scrap paper to compose your message before committing to writing directly in the card. You might create a simple message that is the same for every card or you might consider including something specific for each recipient. Although it might seem like a chore, this process will actually be enjoyable when you think of the great memories you have shared with your friends. Now that you are reaching a milestone event in life, it’s no surprise you want to involve them in your special day. Be authentic and honest about your feelings, I find that to be the most effective way to communicate!

3. Decoration & Gifts

Finally, when you have all your “will you be my bridesmaid?” cards ready to distribute, consider decorations and even including a gift as a teaser and token of your appreciation. These cards can be sent in traditional mail, so you can consider adding stickersconfetti and treats inside.

I really like the idea of including a little gift, such as a planner or notebook that will help your bridesmaid with their actual duties and planning for your big day. It’s another way to express your gratitude and excitement for this journey you will be taking together, making an important day of your life the best possible!
