Hi everyone! Amanda here from Old House to New Home, sharing one of our new favorite breakfast recipes. This Air Fryer French Toast is perfect for busy school mornings and will keep your kiddos full until lunch time.
School may look different for some people this year, but the fact that your kids need a good breakfast before learning will never change. Serve this french toast with fruit or yogurt and you have a well-balanced meal.
One of the reasons I usually dislike making french toast is because your pan is either too hot or too cold and you end up with either burnt or soggy toast. That isn’t a problem with the Air Fryer. Everything cooks evenly and becomes a beautiful golden brown. You don’t have to babysit the pan either. You may even have time to sit and enjoy your coffee while it cooks.
How to Make Air fryer french toast
You follow the same general principals, batter the bread in a mixture of egg, spices, and cream. I recommend using a hearty bread, like brioche or texas toast. You do not need to soak the bread overnight like in some recipes. I honestly think that this is the best french toast recipe, ever!

YUM!
The only thing I changed was that I went with Pure Almond Extract instead of using vanilla. Also used Pure Maple Syrup in place of the pancake / waffle syrup that you buy.
That sounds amazing! So glad you enjoyed it!
Best wishes,
