Instructions:
1. Cut up your goat’s milk soap base
Cut your goat’s milk soap into small cubes. This makes it easier to melt. It doesn’t matter what size you cut them. But the smaller the cubes, the quicker they will melt.
2. Melt the goat’s milk soap
In a heatproof bowl melt the soap in the microwave in 30-second intervals. It is very similar to melting candy. Be sure to stir in between every 30-second intervals.
3. add the essential oil and lavender buds
Add about 10 drops of essential oil of your choice. I used lavender. Stir in the lavender buds. You can add as much or as little as you want. I add about 1/2 cup.
4. pour the melted soap into the mold
Pour the soap into the seashell mold, filling all the way to the top of each cavity.
5. let the soap solidify
Let the soap set several hours, or overnight. Once set, push your soap out of the mold and package in pretty paper, mason jars or wrap with bakers twine.
