These are the ingredients you’ll need. All the exact amounts are in the printable card at the bottom of this post.

Soften the cream cheese

When it comes to this recipe, texture and consistency is KEY! To begin, your cream cheese MUST be softened, so be sure to plan this out ahead of time.

If your cream cheese is not softened, then you will not get the beautiful, whipped consistency that the Nutella Cookie Dip is supposed to boast. Instead, the dip will look curdled and unappetizing.

Leave it on your counter for about 2 hours to soften your block of cream cheese.

use whipped cream in a tub

The best kind of whipped cream to use for our Nutella Cookie Dip are the ones that are tubbed, found in the frozen section of your grocery store. The most popular brand is Cool Whip; this kind of whipped cream is actually an imitation whipped cream and is best known as a “whipped topping.”

properly thaw your whipped cream

As we mentioned before, texture and consistency is very important when making your batch of Nutella Cookie Dip. Be sure that your frozen whipped cream is completely thawed before putting all of the ingredients together.

use an electric mixer

Speaking of consistency, be sure to use an electric mixer (either a hand or stand mixer) to ensure that all of your ingredients are thoroughly mixed together.
